The theme of the Symposium is “Designing the Future of Interactive Learning: H5P, OER, and GenAI” and the goal is to share interesting uses that go beyond simple quizzes or problem sets to create truly transformative learning experiences. There are two 15-minute session formats available: lightning talks and practical demonstration, and you’re welcome to submit your proposal for either or both. The deadline for submissions is 3pm on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Please see the full call for proposals for more details.

The 2026 UBC H5P Symposium will be hosted online via Zoom on February 18-19, 2026.  It is open and free for post-secondary instructors, students, and staff.  Please visit the symposium site at https://blogs.ubc.ca/h5psymposium for more information.
